Are you into science adventure? Can you prove which fruit conducts electricity? Can you predict the outcome of explosive stunts? Can you build a catapult or slingshot which will accurately fling eggs at a target?

Those are some of the tasks in a new science action show on RTE television’s The Den. The organisers say the show will be packed with logic, strategy and explosions.

The series is looking for teams of three young people – each member needs to be aged between 10 and 12 on or before 31 December 2010.

Choose your team members carefully, as the series involves a lot of team work. Each team and their guardians may be required to stay on location the night before filming, and filming will be for one day.

The closing date for applications is Friday 26 February 2010.
